[bg=cccfd8][atrb=border,0,true][cs=2] PERSONA: Requiem could be compared to a knight. He's a little rough around the edges, but he's strong, fierce, just, and noble. Though usually well-mannered, he can have some dominance issues; as in, he wants to be dominant and doesn't take orders very well. As such, he doesn't like taking part in a pack and would much rather control his own destiny. He tends to be more on the serious side, generally preferring solitude to the commotion of heavily populated areas. At the same time, he opens up when around those few he considers friends. It's not that he is antisocial or unfriendly, he just prefers a more tranquil setting to his stage. Noble to the core, Req will fight before he takes flight. There's simply no questioning that. If you offend him, he's quick to stand his ground, and doesn't always forgive very easily. At the bottom of it all, he has a kind heart and knows how to love if you give him a chance. Stay on his good side, don't boss him around, and he will give you anything within his power.

[bg=cccfd8][atrb=border,0,true][cs=2] HISTORY: Req was born somewhere near the great winter, during the fall season. His parents were loners, much like himself, and were struggling to survive. Soon after his birth, his father went crazy, unable to handle the environment, and his mother had little to no survival skills left on her own. This complicated things for the litter, and one by one all the pups passed on until just Requiem remained. As the months passed and autumn faded into winter, he grew bigger and stronger, yet his mother grew weaker and more fragile. She really couldn't bear the climate, and Req quickly learned how to provide for both of them. Despite his determination, his attempts were not enough. Providing her food and shelter did little good when powerful males found them and had their way with her. After three failed pregnancies by those males, a fourth pregnancy made the final blow. Her health declined rapidly, already frail, and she died leaving Requiem utterly alone. He was just over two by that time, and after seeing what his mother had been through, he vowed he'd never turn into a beast like the males that had put her in that situation. He will always have a soft spot for females, especially those alone and vulnerable, but at the same time, he has a hard time learning how to love again. One day, he was near a river when he came across a young female laying on the banks. She was struggling for life, frozen and malnourished. He laid with her until she was warm enough to move again, and then helped her journey back to a place of shelter where he tried to nurse her back to health. Unfortunately, Devi was pregnant and delivered pups not too long after she regained her strength. It became a mental battle for her, and Req did his best to help her through her struggles. Three of the five puppies died, and the other two set off on their own. Devi seemed relieved, yet still troubled. He is crazy for her and will do anything to protect her and keep her safe, feeling like he's been given a second chance to prove his worth. He wants to make her his mate - his forever. But he's still not sure where she stands and what she wants from him.
