He's always on the look-out unless he knows the area well, and there's a quick escape. Generally he keeps to himself, and even when there's another equine around he's mostly silent. Any words drawn out of him are put into riddles or poems, making little sense. In open fields he usually finds himself racing against himself, ignoring the world around him. Slowly roaming various areas, Thorne has no place to call home, but it doesn't bother him. He's never had a home, and he doesn't plan on getting one anytime soon.

As a young foal he was attacked by a canine and escaped with little phisical wounds, though it made him more cautious. Often he will spend several minutes checking out an area before relaxing, fearing another attack. He prefurs to flee rather than to fight, but if he doesn't think he'll be able to escape he'll fight back without hesitation. If he does join a band of horses, it will be a small one with four tops. The smaller the group, the more likely the entire group will survive an attack.

Nostrils flexed as they processed the scents in the air. Sweet grass, blooming flowers, and hints of distant life filtered in, nothing to fret about. His eyes quickly scanned the area for any threats his nose and ears hadn't caught. Seeing nothing he proceeded down the slope quickly, trotting alongside the muddy river bank, staying with the clumps of grass to prevent getting stuck. Quickly gaining speed he distanced himself from river, fearing he may slide in the mud. Nostrils fed his body air, before his lungs pushed it back out and repeating the process. Limbs streatched out into a wide stride, bringing him to a full-out gallop. He pushed himself harder, attempting to best his fastest speed. For no other reason except that he enojoyed the feeling of air rush past his skull. His body relaxed at this speed, though his eyes and nostils still searched for trouble, while his ears were filled with the sound of wind in his ears. A moment of peace washed over him as he relaxed, momentarily forgeting his fear of attack, and he became one with the wind.
