He likes being the leader and can be bossy at times, though he usually has everyone's best interests at heart. Zelo believes in honor and doing what is right and will go out of his way to help others in need. Once he becomes your friend he will stand by your side until you give him a reason not to. Though he's fairly young, he seems to know what he's doing and what he wants out of life. He's strong and undaunted, determined to accomplish anything he sets his mind to.

Most puppies wouldn't survive such harsh conditions, but his mother dedicated herself to her litter and Zelo made it through to spring. His mother was alone at the time, and for Zelo's first year of life he had no understanding of what a pack was like. However, his mother's health became frail and she ended up joining a pack for protection and sustenance. Zelo was a young male then, just reaching breeding age. He joined the pack with her, but was ranked low and picked on by the higher ranking males. He learned a lot in his two years with that pack - how to fight, how to hunt...how to survive. Eventually they saw him as a threat rather than a benefit. He didn't want to fight, and left on as good of terms as possible given the situation. He has roamed Conquilo for the past year, but has yet to settle down or find a place to call his own.
